FAQ & Commission Process
Answers to common questions about murals, portraits, prints, and working with OG Workshop.
How do I commission a custom mural?
Start by filling out the booking form with your wall dimensions, location, and vision. We'll schedule a free consultation to review the space, discuss concepts, and provide a detailed quote. Once the design is approved, we schedule the painting.
How much does a mural cost?
Mural pricing starts at $100 per square foot and depends on wall size, design complexity, surface condition, location, and travel. A detailed quote is provided after the consultation and site review.
What is your turnaround time?
Design and approval typically take 1–2 weeks. On-site painting depends on the size and detail of the mural—small interior pieces may take 2–3 days, while large exterior projects can take several weeks. Rush projects can sometimes be accommodated.
Do you work outside of Arizona?
Yes. While based in Waddell, Arizona, Ryan travels for select mural and commercial projects. Travel and lodging are included in the project quote when applicable.
What surfaces can you paint on?
Interior and exterior walls, concrete, brick, smooth stucco, wood, metal, and more. Surface preparation is key—rough or previously painted surfaces may need cleaning, patching, or priming before the mural begins.
Can I order a print of an original piece?
Yes. Limited edition giclée prints are available in several sizes. Each print is produced on archival paper with museum-quality inks. Digital downloads are also available for select works.
Do you create custom portraits?
Yes. Custom portraits are a core part of the studio's work. You can commission a portrait in a variety of styles and mediums, from graphite and charcoal to mixed media and painted canvas.
What happens after I submit a booking request?
You'll receive a confirmation email, and we'll follow up within 24 hours to schedule a consultation. You can also log into the client portal to track the status of your request.
Are your prints limited edition?
Most prints are produced as open editions on demand, using archival materials. Specific limited edition releases are announced to the newsletter list and marked clearly in the shop.
How do I care for my mural or print?
Murals receive a protective topcoat suitable for their environment. Avoid harsh chemicals and pressure washing. Prints should be framed behind UV-protective glass and kept out of direct sunlight for maximum longevity.
